Hello and welcome to my site. I am an artist recently come to land in the rolling green hills of Ceredigion in West Wales.I have painted and drawn all my life, on canvas, wood and paper, on stones,clay, birch bark, walls and wagons.  Inspired by the flowing forms and colours of nature...the light and flight of birds and moonlight, I paint dream-scapes, murals, and portraits of people, animals and trees. The painting guides my hand and unfolds in its own way.

 In ceramics i specialize in Maiolica and make all sorts of one-off pieces: plates platters and vases, jugs mugs bowls and tiles, and commemorative birth and wedding plates. I am often asked to  make personalized plates for wedding and birthday presents, as well as  mugs with names on them in whatever theme and style you like.

I am also a signwriter specializing in colourful illustrated signs. In addition I have a background in the traditional Romany gypsy art of striping, scrolling and decorating horse-drawn vehicles of all kinds including barrel-top wagons and other types.

Under the name of Dixey Ruscelli I have danced and taught Flamenco dance for many years.
